Morton KM300D Ploughshare Mixer

Morton KM300D Ploughshare Mixer All stainless steel continuous ploughshare mixer. A 300 Lts powder blender with a chamber approx 500 mm dia x 1510 mm long and fitted with 5 off ploughs and two end scrapers but no refiners. Top conns are 1 x 200 mm with 2 x 25 mm side stubs, 1 x 70 mm, 1 x 100 mmwith 1 x 100 mm side stub and a 50 mm bottom drain for wash down. The unit has an adjustable weir gate with a hand wheel to control the residence time within the unit. Two hinged access doors 370 mm x 310 mm with swing clamps and hand wheels. Air purged seals and driven by a 11 kw 1460 rpm motor through a SEW typr reduction box 8.61.1 ratio. A fuuly enclosed 5 belt drive and mounted in a mild steel frame. Design pressure is 1.5 bar test pressure is 2.25 bar Design temp. is 128 deg.C. Serial 24048. 1994.
